TSSA-approved curriculum training for the EDM-F certificate, on weekends from January 2027.
Our TSSA-approved F course covers the content of the curriculum for the EDM-F certificate, so you are ready to write the TSSA exam.
Classes run on weekends from January 30/31, 2027. The full schedule of dates is provided during the course. A minimum number of participants is required for the class to run.

Mandatory materials
Each participant needs a copy of:
- Technical Standards and Safety Act, with the appropriate Regulations
- Regulation 209/01
- Regulation 222/01
- Code Adoption Document
- CSA B44 (10th edition) — Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators
- Field Employees Safety Handbook
- Elevator Installation Manual 2014 (Elevator World)
- Elevator Maintenance Manual, 2nd edition (Elevator World)
- Occupational Health and Safety Act
Participants also need access to these codes: B355, Z185, B311, A17.2 and A17.6.
Good to know
- Fees not paid in full by June 30 are subject to a late-payment penalty of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.
- Certificates are released only to successful participants whose tuition is fully paid at the end of the course.
- Minimum numbers are required for the class to run.
